Atlas Heavy performed the local multimodal transport of this huge vessel. The cargo had dimensions of 66ft, 11 inches long. 27ft, 8in wide. 23ft, 1in high and weighed 261370 lbs. The ride height was 27’1” tall. The cargo was rolled onto a barge from the manufacturer’s site in Houston, barged up the Houston Bayou, rolled off and moved over the road to the job site in Houston.

Silvasti’s scope included two transportations, one with the frame of the airplane and one with its wings.

This large project was handled by Red Transport Nigeria from Flushing NL to Onne NG with delivery to the final destination in Nigeria. 175 pieces including some heavylift equipment was handled, such as a 343 tonne gas turbine and 233 tonne generators.
