Kensa Logistics Handled an Automotive Production Line from the North Sea to Queretaro, Mexico

Kensa Logistics made it possible for a TIER1 automotive manufacturing company to start a production line by delivering the load even earlier than requested.

The company needed to install in Queretaro, in the shortest possible time, a production line that was ready for transfer from the German city of Bremerhaven.

Knowing the difficulties that the automotive sector is currently going through, in KENSA multiplied their efforts so that this customer had their equipment as soon as possible.

The complexities of transfer were many due to the characteristics of the load, of considerable weights and dimensions. To face them, Kensa moved the merchandise from the factory to the city’s largest port on the North Sea and, after customs clearance, Ro-Ro type vessel was chosen, which made it easier to handle the goods.

The ship deposited the cargo in Puerto de Veracruz and from there Kensa delivered it to its final destination in Querétaro.

As usual in Kensa Logistics company, the delivery before the date was made while scrupulously complying with the regulations in each country for the transport of oversized cargo.

Kensa Logistics Handled the Importation of a Quality Enabling System to Guanajuato Mexico

Kensa Logistics Handled the Importation of a Quality Enabling System to Guanajuato Mexico

A very special service for the value of the cargo that has been moved with absolute precision, on schedule and without any setbacks.

Special dimensions and a lot of documentation:

The merchandise arrived by sea to Altamira and Kensa’s work consisted of controlling the cargo of 9 large pieces at the port that, due to their dimensions and special weight, traveled under the Break Bulk modality. This material was joined by 4 extra pieces that had to be deconsolidated directly at the port since they had traveled together in a 40HC container. In total, we are talking about 13 pieces covered by the same international freight.

The most important thing about the project is that, to ensure the maneuvers and the final delivery without setbacks, it was essential to have all the operational part perfectly covered before the cargo arrived at the port. It was also a very high-value material, since we are talking about a quality review system for an important automotive brand that incorporates the brand’s latest engineering innovations.

Smoothly and on schedule:

Kensa was been able to provide the client with something more than a logistics service. Making the decision to do a direct download and do a direct terminal review to confirm the maneuvers. Kensa was also in direct communication with the customs agent in real time to speed up the entire clearance of the merchandise. The result is that the cargo was delivered on schedule and without any setbacks.
